Ko So-young is a South Korean female actress and model. She graduated from Chung-Ang University with a major in Drama & Cinema. She was known as one of Korea’s “ideal women”. She is currently in a relationship with Jang Dong-gun. Debuted in the TV drama Love Tomorrow in 1993 and quickly established herself as a representative star of her generation. She made her film debut opposite Jung Woo-sung in The Fox with Nine Tails in 1994, which ranked as the first Korean film ever to use computer-generated images. However, it failed to make an impression on audiences or critics. Ko first achieved wide recognition through her role in Beat (again with Jung Woo-sung), a film that caught the imagination of many Korean high school students. Since then she has acted in a series of successful melodramas, portraying a young model in If the Sun Rises in the West, a Jeju Island tour guide in Love Wind, Love Song, and a Korean American adoptee in Love. In 2001, Ko teamed up with actor Lee Seong-jae in A Day, about a married couple who have trouble conceiving a child. Her acting in the film was much praised and garnered the Best Actress prize from the local Grand Bell Awards ceremony. Then, after two years off, Ko returned in 2003 opposite Han Suk-kyu in the spy thriller Double Agent; however, the film failed to live up to the expectations of most viewers and critics. At present, she is scheduled to appear in two films that will shoot in 2006: the horror film APT by director Ahn Byeong-ki, and a romantic comedy by debut director Jeon Young-gap.

Jennifer Lopez pic

After stalking into the new year in a sparkly body-hugging cat-suit, Jennifer Lopez's booty set tongues wagging again Friday night - this time in a skin tight black leather suit accessorized with studs and laces.

Jennifer Lopez was performing on the fourth night of the 2010 Sanremo Italian Music Festival. Jennifer Lopez seems to have maintained her stamina and her curves since the New Year.

She sang a medley of her major hits: "Jenny from the Block," "Waiting for Tonight," "Love Don't Cost a Thing," "Get Right" and "Lets Get Loud."

No doubt constricted by the tight leather, Jennifer Lopez didn't perform highly complicated moves, settling for a lot of hip swiveling and stomping. But that was probably enough for the male population.

The highlight of the performance had Jennifer Lopez and her back-up dancers twirling canes for a Charlie Chaplin-esque number.

J.Lo took to the stage twice for the festival’s 60th anniversary. During her second act she wore gold tasseled military regalia and sang "What Is Love?" - a single from her new album, "Love?"

At the end of the show, Jennifer Lopez smiled under a sea of confetti and shouted breathlessly, "You didn't know I could do that did you?"

Kate Hudson

The divorce of Kate Hudson's parents a few months before her second birthday meant that she got to spend her childhood with an Oscar winner for a mom and an action hero as a step-dad. Naturally, she wanted to follow in their footsteps, but Goldie Hawn discouraged entering the industry right away, out of concern for her daughter's well being. Instead, Kate Hudson kept her artistic ambitions inside the class room through dance instruction and acting at the Santa Monica Playhouse. One of her early highlights was winning a school talent show by energetically bopping to the sounds of Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation."

Kate Hudson's enthusiasm for performing finally got the better of her mom when she was allowed to audition for a show featuring Howie Mandel. She won the part, but Goldie Hawn turned it down without telling her, but ultimately encouraged her daughter to take non-acting jobs on her movie sets. As such, she often helped the crew with make-up and costuming for films like Overboard (which starred both Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell), but still secretly hoped for a future in front of the camera.

KATE HUDSON STARS IN ALMOST FAMOUS AND HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS
After graduating from Crossroads Performing Arts High School and a busy summer performing in the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Kate Hudson made her television debut as Cory on 1996 episode of Jennifer Love Hewitt's launching pad, Party of Five. Kate Hudson's confidence that she could make it in the industry led her to shun an invitation to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and after playing a klutz on a horrible New Year's date in 1998's 200 Cigarettes, she landed a small role as Patrick Fugit's sister in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous. When Sarah Polley dropped out of the lead female role of the free-living, musician-chasing Penny Lane, Kate Hudson stepped into the part and walked away with an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Before the year was out, she would make two other films, the dark teen drama Gossip with James Marsden and Joshua Jackson and Dr. T and the Women with Richard Gere and Helen Hunt.

The warm reception by critics to her performance in Almost Famous caused a lot of scripts to be sent her way -- including some like Spider-Man that she turned down. Instead of going the comic book route, she hit her stride in romantic comedies, with her biggest hit coming from 2003's How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, in which she played a journalist matching bets and sharing beds with Matthew McConaughey. Alex & Emma was also a female-friendly date movie but gave her the added challenge of playing five roles opposite her co-star, Luke Wilson. In 2005, Kate Hudson top-lined her first horror hit, The Skeleton Key, as a nurse spooked by the happenings inside a New Orleans house. Making her performance even more impressive was the fact that she shed 60 post-pregnancy pounds in a mere 12 weeks to do the role.

KATE HUDSON STARS IN BRIDE WARS AND NINE
Now recognized by the movie industry as Kate Hudson and not just Goldie Hawn's daughter, Kate Hudson continues to find success in films that are lighter in nature. She teamed up with Matt Dillon and Owen Wilson for the 2006 summer hit, You, Me and Dupree. Though Owen Wilson played an obnoxious houseguest in the film, he wasn't unwelcome in Kate Hudson's life, and the two enjoyed a romance as a result of working together. Her next two films, Fool's Gold and My Best Friend's Girl, earned her a dubious Razzie Award nomination for Worst Actress, but the former film proved to be an audience favorite, no doubt due to her reunion with Matthew McConaughey. Astaga.Com Lifestyle on the Net

Unfazed by her Razzie nomination, Kate Hudson fought it out on the big screen with fellow beauty Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars before moving on to surefire Oscar fare with the musical drama Nine alongside screen legend Sophia Loren and acting all-stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Day-Lewis. Kate Hudson will continue her genre-hopping as real-life painter Margaret Keane in Big Eyes and the wife of lawman-turned-murderer with Casey Affleck in The Killer Inside Me.

Julianne Hough was born July 20, 1988, in Provo, Utah to a family of dancers (all four of her grandparents were professional dancers and her parents met while ballroom dancing in Utah). She was one of five children and began dancing at the tender age of 3. By just 9 years old, she was already dancing competitively.

When she was 10, Julianne Hough moved to London, England, where one of her older brothers, Derek, was already living (their parents sent them abroad in the midst of their divorce in an effort to spare them the burden of the separation).
The siblings moved in with World Dance Champions Corky and Shirley Ballas, and Julianne began professionally dancing with their son Mark. Together, they became the Junior and Youth World champions while attending Italia Conti Performing Arts School.

When Julianne Hough was 12, she, her brother Derek and Mark Ballas started their own music group, 2B1G (two boys, one girl). The trio aggressively studied every aspect of dance and performing seven days a week -- singing, acting, tap, jazz, ballet, gymnastics, hip-hop, samba, jive, waltz, tango, quickstep, and more. The group was featured on various British TV shows.

JULIANNE HOUGH ON SHOW ME THE MONEY
When Julianne Hough was 15, she won the Junior Blackpool World Latin Championship and the International Latin Youth Championship, becoming the youngest dancer to win these titles. After these prestigious wins, she headed back across the pond to the U.S. and resided in Las Vegas for a year in order to attend the reputed Las Vegas Academy performing arts high school. Astaga.Com Lifestyle on the Net

Her first professional gig was helping in the choreography of Gwen Stefani's video for the hit song "Wind It Up." Then, she became one of the "Million Dollar Dancers" on the William Shatner-hosted game show Show Me The Money.

JULIANNE HOUGH ON DANCING WITH THE STARS
Before joining the show, Julianne Hough was one of the company dancers on the Dancing with the Stars national tour group. However, she officially joined the cast for the fourth season of the popular reality dance show and was teamed up with Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno. She was the youngest professional dancer to join the cast, and also the youngest to win: the duo took home the fourth-season championship.

Julianne Hough stayed on board for the fifth season of DWTS, this time being paired up with Indy 500 racer Hélio Castroneves. Once again, Julianne Hough led them to victory as the pair won the finals, beating out Melanie Brown and Maksim Chmerkovskiy to win the mirror ball trophy.

In the sixth season, Julianne Hough was teamed up with funnyman Adam Carolla. However, they were eliminated halfway through the season.

JULIANNE HOUGH RELEASES SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM
Always a hopeful country singer, Julianne Hough released her debut single, "Will You Dance With Me," in May '07 on iTunes and at Wal-Mart. It hit No. 100 on the Billboard Pop 100 charts and No. 8 on the country charts.

Blake Lively

Some girls grow up dreaming of a career in Hollywood. Others, like Blake Lively, have to be dragged into it by their brothers. Blake’s parents were both talent agents in L.A., so she had nothing but doors open. Still, she resisted Tinseltown’s siren call. So, brother Eric went behind her back and secretly signer her up with his agent. Unbeknownst to Blake, her career path had been laid out for her.

BLAKE LIVELY GOES TRAVELING
Imagine, a young Blake Lively trying to focus on her school (she was trying to get into Stanford) while being inundating with calls from her new “agent” with auditions and interviews. Not wanting to disappoint her brother, she said yes and joined the legions of hot, blond girls lining up for roles.

Blake got her first big role by bucking the traditional audition routine. It was for Sisterhood of Traveling Pants. Poor Blake was nervous beyond belief. Instead of reading her lines, she passed her headshot to the producers and awkwardly shuffled off. Luckily for her, the character she was auditioning for was equally awkward and she won the part.

BLAKE LIVELY SPREADS SOME GOSSIP
Buoyed by her relative ease in winning that first major role, Blake Lively decided that maybe Stanford could wait. She was going to focus on acting. Was she blessed? Talented? Lucky to have ridiculously connected parents? Maybe a little of each, as she quickly landed the role of "Serena van der Woodsen" on the highly-anticipated teen drama Gossip Girl.

She played the bad girl gone good, and played it well. The show was a ratings disappointment, but squeaked out a second season where it began to graph upwards in both quality and viewership. Astaga.Com Lifestyle on the Net

BLAKE LIVELY SUFFERS SOME GOSSIP
Being the new “it” girl has its privileges (invites to the MTV Video Awards, get-out-of-DUI free cards, etc), but it also comes with a price. Everywhere Blake Lively went, so too did a throng of camera-totting paparazzi. They documented every move she made -- who she was dating, what she was wearing and so on. It is just the price of doing business in Hollywood these days, but poor Blake loathed it. Those paparazzi captured her out on the town with co-star (and childhood friend) Penn Badgley.

BLAKE LIVELY MOVING FORWARD
The stars of the first manifestation of Melrose Place all struggled to find steady work after that show ended. Call us psychic, but we foresee a similar fate for most of the cast of Gossip Girl. Except Blake Lively. The adverbly-monikered chick has an undeniable screen presence that has her poised for stardom. Look for her in Ben Affleck’s upcoming crime drama The Town. Not bad for a girl that never really wanted to be actress.

The fast, furious and fleeting appearance of King Khan in Gurgaontakes the revellers' breath away. Even more breathtaking, however, isthat SRK flew back to Mumbai the next morning, richer, reportedly by Rs5 crore that was paid for his 10-minute cameo.

Bollywood's richest actor

The Rs 1500 crore hero

A fleeting appearance by Shah Rukh Khan makes him richer by Rs 5 crore. The breathtaking tale of Bollywood's richest actor.

By: Dhiman Chattopadhyay and Anusha Subramanian (Business Today)

December 31, 2009: Time: Close to the witching hour. Location:A party hotspot in Gurgaon on New Delhi's outskirts to which acity-based gutkha baron has invited hundreds of celebrities andwannabes to usher in the New Year. A string of performers-from singerShankar Mahadevan to starlets such as Minissha Lamba-strut their stuff.Suddenly, out of nowhere emerges an eminently recognisable bundle ofnervous energy-a certain Shah Rukh Khan. He jokes, shakes a leg anddoes a quick song-and-dance routine. The fast, furious and fleetingappearance of the 44-year-old Badshah of Bollywood takes the revellers'breath away. Even more breathtaking, however, is that SRK flew back toMumbai the next morning, richer, reportedly by Rs 5 crore that was paidfor his 10-minute cameo.

November 2009: SRK is shooting a new ad for direct-to-home (DTH)service provider Dish TV-a film in which SRK as a senior citizenrelives his romantic heydays thanks to the pictures beamed by Dish TVon the telly. Between shots he quizzes company COO Salil Kapoor on theDTH business, and is keen to know how it works. He also doesn't losethe opportunity to tell the agency, McCann Erickson, that the ad wasconceptualised by him. "But what impressed me most was his knowledge ofconsumer behaviour and marketing. He could easily give a lecture at anIIM on the subject," says Kapoor. The ad is shot over three days afterwhich SRK walks away with a Rs 7-crore cheque.

February 12, 2010: My Name is Khan, produced by Karan Johar'sDharma Productions, is slated for release. The story of an autisticMumbai Muslim who marries a Hindu could add some Rs 10 crore to SRK'skitty if audiences lap it up. Eleven days prior to this, Shah Rukh rangthe opening bell at the New York-based NASDAQ stock exchange, an honourusually reserved for CEOs.

February 26: Discovery Travel and Living's 10-part series,Living with a Superstar-Shah Rukh Khan, will go on air. The biggestIndian show on TV, with a budget of nearly Rs 20 crore, delves intodifferent shades of SRK's life: As a father, a husband, a businessman, and of course, an entertainer. SRK personally will not earn much fromthis show. Red Chillies Idiot Box, an arm of SRK's Red ChilliesEntertainment, which is co-producing the show, stands to gain much ofthe spoils. Discovery has already sold all ad inventories for thisshow.

Every step he takes, every move he makes, somebody's out therewatching him-and somebody's out there willing to pay a small fortune tosee him perform. Whether he's acting, or endorsing a brand, or justbeing himself at an awards ceremony, SRK mints money. And let's notforget the company he owns along with wife Gauri: Red ChilliesEntertainment, which has diversified into highgrowth areas ofentertainment like visual effects, television commercials, televisionprogramming, in addition to the mainstay of film-making. Put all theseinterests together and you have a superstar with a net worth of roughlyRs 1,500 crore, making him arguably Bollywood's richest star.
